I'm going to forklift driver for the last 18 years and 7 months ago the reason I didn't know I lost 70% of my left arm and up until recently I was still going to work trying to maintain my job while saying doctor after doctor after doctor trying to find out what was going on finally it was pinpointed after countless appointments and I lost count of how much paid out in copays that it was because of discs disintegrating in my neck causing pinching on nerve clusters and in the spinal column because working in a impaired state and trying to compensate I caused more damage down into my shoulder I was waiting for my insurance to approve the required surgery to repair what was going on in my neck and my shoulder I lost my job because I couldn't keep up with required levels of productivity even though my supervisor was kept informed of what was going on and what was learned as it was learned every step of the way and that I was waiting on approval for surgery. It wasn't it on the job injury but it was classified as a hazard of the job by the doctors because of always having to be looking up or looking backwards while driving my forklift they said was a cause of the strain and deterioration of the discs of my neck currently due to my condition I am unable to find another job and because of the loss of the job I now no longer have insurance and I honestly don't know where to go or what to do at this point
