Save my Pittie's Titties

I rescued Lexi Grace in her final hour at the shelter after being there 115 days. The shelter set several pleas over the 2,760 hours she was at the shelter, and no one came forward. She was beginning to deteriorate at the shelter despite all the staff's efforts to keep her happy and healthy.

Lexi had already been through so much before even getting to the shelter. We know she was tied to a tree with another dog for two weeks as their owners abandoned them. She was pregnant and heartworm positive. She was spayed and treated for heartworms at the shelter. Just after that very quickly a mammary tumor popped up. I saved her knowing this, but thought it was just hormonal until another popped up very quickly after binging her home. After being treated with antibiotics the vet determined it was another tumor. We need to have them removed and biopsied before they spread further.

I am a single mom just trying to make a difference in this world. If you are in a position to donate Save my Pittie's Tittes we would be so grateful. She is such a loving and kind dog that is so inquisitive and excited about this new life she has.

I will be getting an additional quote from another vet before proceeding with the current quote. With that said any finds raised above the quoted amount will be donated between a couple reputable rescues and Iredell County Animal Services.
