Red River R&R (Reptile & Exotic Rescue)

Our mission here is to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome, and rekindle the life and love of reptiles and other exotic pets. We aim to make a place with no limit of love and care for less common pets.

It all started with an accidental encounter- someone had an extremely sick bearded dragon, personal life issues, and simply couldn't do anything for him. When we heard about it, we poured ourselves into his care.

Our founding Beardie is Castiel. He had many hurdles to overcome and in our time with him he gained back some body weight, some energy, and some mobility.

Unfortunately, ultimately his organs gave out on him and he passed away asleep in the night despite his progress.

We brought our love, knowledge, and time to Castiel; he brought a purpose and focus to us, and after hearing about so many other reptiles and other exotic pets that need help for whatever reason life has created, we started up Red River R&R.

We hope with community support, word of mouth, and hard work we'll be able to make a difference not just in our immediate region, but everywhere.

The funds will all go to husbandry items, a proper facility to better facilitate the mission, engagement activities in the community, and providing specialty supplies at reduced costs to everyone caring for these wonderful animals.
