Holiday Help: Supporting my family- Saving Our Home

I hope this message finds each and every one of you well. I never thought I would find myself in a position to ask for help. Unfortunately, life can take unexpected turns. I recently have been out of work, due to knee issues, finding cysts on my ovaries, and having to do biopsy after biopsy. With the holidays approaching, I’m facing an incredibly difficult situation. I’m reaching out to the community and friends for support during this challenging time.

About a month or so ago, I was unable to work due to facing the probability of another back surgery plus a knee surgery. (I am a nurse) Then found out I had some spots on my ovaries we had to find out what they were and if they were cancerous. (thankfully there was no sign of cancer) I’m getting back to work, but the bills keep piling up, water going from $100 to $400 with absolutely no explanation whatsoever, and if I want the water company to come out and see if it’s a misreading on their end, I have to pay out of pocket for it. (WOW) – Electric is getting out of the way. I have 4 beautiful children and 2 amazing grandbabies that are my whole world. I’m seeking help to get caught up on my mortgage which is now 3 months behind, because we are facing to be removed from our home. My oldest daughter lost her job because they closed down and moved to a different part of the world, so she and my 2 grandchildren are living with me and my other 3 kids as well.

As a mother, I want to be able to bring smiles to all of my babies this holiday season. I really don’t want to lose the home that we’ve had and the kids have grown up in. This home is the home with memories from their daddy. (Their daddy recently passed, Feb 6, suddenly, we just found out it was due to a fentanyl overdose.) My heart is broken, He was my soulmate and he would never let this happen. I’ve handled depression and all the best way I know how, losing my best friend, then health problems happen.

Your donations will help me so much, I don’t really have a limit, I’m 6k behind on the mortgage. I know that’s a lot. Which like a said above, I am not the kind to ask for any type of help, I’m the one that goes and works hard for it, but time is running out and as the holidays approach, so is foreclosure on my home, I worked so hard to build this home, and there are so many sentimental memories I cannot let go of.

Just so it is out there, your donations will go to – Mortgage support : Directly towards covering the three months mortgage payment I am behind on, this will truly help our family stay in our home, and prevent the stress off potential eviction.

Lastly, Holiday gifts for my children and grandchildren: With any extra support, I can buy gifts and create a memorable holiday for my family. It’s difficult to express how much this would mean to me, and to them. If you would like to send gifts or would like to go about helping in another way, I have other available ways to take donations.

22 – Female / 17 – Male / 15 – Female / 13 – Female

My grandbabies are both females, and their age is 6 & 11.
