Our Schoolhouse siding was damaged this winter and the building is at an increased risk of water damage. With your help, we will be able to pay for new siding & installation as well as necessary repairs and rain gutters.

Heartwood is a K-8 Nature & Place-based Public Charter School in Jefferson, New Hampshire. We opened our doors in 2022, and are one of the few alternative elementary educational options and the only free/public alternative elementary school in our county. We provide a much needed service to the families of our region by offering an additional elementary school option. At Heartwood students cultivate a love for learning and explore academics within meaningful contexts. Using our community and the natural world as our classroom, we provide opportunities for students to build valuable relationships through service, experiential learning, outdoor play, and connection with nature.
