I have a hefty debt that I have been struggling to pay which consists of tuition and additional charges made to international students. My mother can't pay it with her cleaning job at this time and I want to help her.

For the first time in my life, I was planning to drop out of school on December 1. This semester took a toll on me, and things did not seem to get better, leaving me hopeless.
I am a non-traditional student; I had to take a forced 6-year hiatus due to lack of economic support but always had my education as my number one priority.
It has been quite a few years since my mother has paid full, out-of-pocket, and out-state tuition with her cleaning job while supporting a family and taking care of every single bill in several households.
I have been inquiring about financial assistance for that with the university I attend but have not heard back from anyone and the people that could help decided not to or simply ignored my concerns.
I am quite a reserved person and sometimes decide not to share details about the problems I have been facing since last semester at New Mexico State University and the other two previous institutions I attended but I also understand that no one is able to assist you unless one asks for the help and voices their concerns for them to be heard.
I have been trying my best to push through and figure out a way to get out of the many issues I am currently facing. It is just complicated to make things happen school-wise when you know you have the intention and potential but do not have the resources to.
Completing any schoolwork for me is more complicated than it should be since I do not have a car, or laptop and the institutions make it complicated to get an in-campus job since I do not qualify for financial aid or work-study.
It is certainly not for the weak when you are an international student that struggles to make ends meet but I should be done with my bachelor's soon. I do not mean to bore or pity with my problems but to be as honest as possible; this help could entirely change my life and set me up to find my dream job and finally become stable in all aspects of my life. This last push seems to be the hardest one but I just can't give up now that I came this far in my journey of becoming a journalist.
