WE ARE RAISING FUNDS TO BRING KNOWLEDGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGED YOUNGSTERS SO THEY MAY BE BETTER PREPARED IN THE FUTURE TO SECURE A PATHWAY OUT OF POVERTY.

Artificial intelligence is no future concoction. It is here and here to stay. (See the links below) Is this generation of high school students prepared for the changes that lie ahead? The advent of this new technology is so important that, for the first time, the annual Classroom of the Future Foundation College and Career Summit at National University made artificial intelligence center stage in this year’s presentation.
“We can’t call ourselves the Classroom of the Future Foundation if we don’t have in our summit a major footprint on the educational system,” said Drew Schlosberg, one of the organizers “The schools are working very hard to close the equity gap.”
AI will increase the gap `between haves and have nots. But, together, we can close that gap by bringing the knowledge and expertise of artificial intelligence to neighborhoods of African-American, Hispanic, Hmong, Laotian, Filipino, Ethiopian, and Cambodian kids in Chollas View, Emerald Hills, Lincoln Park, Mountain View, North Encanto, Mt. Hope, Valencia Park, and East San Diego, estimated to be over 90,000. These are our target communities.in San Diego and, perhaps, similar neighborhoods elsewhere in the country.
First, we need to empower these youngsters with the knowledge of AI and what it can do. Next, we must provide the educational resources, on line and in the classroom, to put their knowledge to practice. Then, we need to focus on what threats lie ahead for the traditional work force and how to overcome them. Lastly, we need to focus on all traditionally marginalized groups and demonstrate how they, too, CAN and WILL qualify for those $125,000 a year jobs and more.
So, please, join our team and help us give these kids a true HEAD START where they are – while we help them leave there. As we develop and put our program to use, we will acknowledge your partnership, big or small, when you join our campaign: “Out of Poverty With Artificial Intelligence.”
